Dreams & Ambitions

Hi guys, so hopefully this should be a rather interactive blog post! I would like to blog about what I hope to be doing in the future and what my goals are and then I really want you guys to comment down below and tell me about yours!

So Monday is my last exam and then that's it school is finished. Then Im in the big scary world of "further education", which has prompted me to think about what I want to achieve and where I want to be in life. I would say Im already a very goal driven person. I love reaching goals and achieving what I set out to do, who doesn't love the feeling of accomplishment? But I also make sure Im aware that when I finish a goal that I take time to enjoy it, not set a new one and become obsessed with that because if you do that you'll never be happy and content. Just always wanting.

So my next step currently is A levels. I've decided to take Chemistry, Biology, History and Business. To some people that sounds like hell, but to me I can't wait to get started! I'm really going to bust my ass off for the next 2 years (hopefully!) and try and get the best grades im possible of achieving. Then, all going to plan I want to go to university to study Pharmacy. I always knew I wanted to do something to do with medicine, but being a doctor sounds like hell to me, but being a Pharmacist sounds just right! After this (25 years shall we say) I'd hope to either own my own pharmacy or be Head Pharmacist in a hospital.

Now on to more superfluous goals. A car, I would love to own a BMW 1 Series, It's my perfect car. But as I will be a broken uni student that will be a few years! I also want to make sure I own where I live, I really dont want to rent anywhere (wasted money!). This one may offend some people but one of my goals is to have a well paying job. Not to be rich, but to be financially stable and not to worry about money. Finally the most important one is to meet the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Now I know these things are waaaaay off into the future but their pretty basic ones!

So please leave me a comment as long and as detailed as you like describing your goals, I love reading them and I'll always reply!

Bye guys!

Holiday Shopping!

I'm going on holiday to Disney Land Florida next monday and I have barely any holiday stuff. It's been a long time since I last went abroad (I'm not too keen on hot weather!) so I didn't really have any of my basic essentials. So I set out into town and I've managed to get everything I need!

Debenhams Swimming Costume - £35

H&M Cover-Up - £7.99

Primark Maxi Dress - £10

Clarks Leather Gladiator Sandals - £35

Fiorelli Sunglasses (From TKMAXX) - £20

Overall im super pleased with what I got! Some of the things are slightly expensive, but the things I spent more money on are the things I will be using again. Such as the sandals and the swimming costume. The swimming costume has this lovely sort of snake skin detail all over it and the fabric is very good quality. The sandals are real leather and are going to last for a long time. Hence why I splurged on them! But then I made the mistake of going into CEX, if you dont know what CEX is, it's a second hand shop that sells DVD's, games and technology (and the DVD's are soooo cheap!). I have recently been loving all the Sylvester Stallone movies, I just love him! So I brought this...

Rocky Boxset - £8

Such a bargain, £8 for 6 DVD's. Brilliant! Well I hope you enjoyed this post, please don't take this as me showing off or bragging. I just personally love reading haul posts and hope you do to! Please leave me a comment, I'll always reply.
Bye guys :)

Scrubs and Exfoliators!

Hi bloggers!

I have been pondering on what to do for my next post and I wanted to do something skincare or bodycare. So I decided to do it on scrubs and exfoliators. I love these kinds of products and with so much choice in this area I thought I'd share my thoughts with and what products I like to use.

Soap&Glory - The Scrub Of Your Life
This scrub claims it will banish dry, rough elbows, bumps on the tops of arms and it will smooth your shins. To be quite honest im not really sure it will do all that, but non the less I do like this product. Opposed to a dry sort of sugar scrub, it is more like a general shower gel with scrubbing beads in it. I would say it's mild enough to use everyday to remove most dead skin, but it wont work wonders. I would say it's good to use with a body puff or exfoliating gloves, but on it's own, it doesn't really do all that much.

Botanics - Moisturising Sugar Scrub
I cannot rave about this product enough, it's the best body scrub on the market! My skin feels so damn good after using this. You use it on damp skin, you can do it in the bath but it's best to go in the shower and then turn the water off so your skin is wet. When you rub it on you can really feel it working and removing all the old, dead skin. But it's not at all harsh. As you can see from the title it's moisturising, and it really means it! After I wash it all off it literally feels like i've just moisturised and it's just all soaked in. So theres no need to moisturiser, which means you've done two jobs in one! It also last for a long time, it's a huge tub and it's only £5 something. Everyone needs to have this product in their cupboard. Love, love, love!

Exfoliating Gloves
These gloves are AMAZING! I could not live without these! They are so good. Using these with your normal body wash takes the normal amount of time as a body wash but your exfoliating YAY! You can get these gloves from most places, the cheaper ones are just as good as brand ones (like Soap&Glory). Brilliant product, everyone go and get some!

Clean&Clear - Exfoliating Daily Wash
I pretty much have nothing bad to say about this face wash! It has gently exfoliating microbeads, which really work, but it's gentle enough to use every day (clearly you can tell this from the title!) It  claims to give you softer skin from day one and remove dead skin and unblock pores which can cause blackheads. I would definitely say it does all this! It has a lovely smell, and the bottle last for ageeeees. I don't use this face wash everyday though because I like to use a face wash to remove most of my make-up (including eye make-up, then I cleanse and tone. Just makes cleansing easier!). Whilst this does remove my make-up it's not suitable to use on my eye area (the skin is very thin and delicate and exfoliators thin the skin and make you look older quicker!) So I just leave this in the shower and use it about twice a week after my normal face wash. But overall great exfoliating face wash!

No7 - Radiance Revealed Exfoliator
This product is so damn good! My skin feels amazing after using this, It really is like a mini facial like it says on the bottle. You only have to use it once or twice a week and it's like having brand new skin after you've used this. my skin is softer, smoother, brighter and just much more lovely. It doesn't lather, it's more of a cleaner with microbeads. But you do have to have damp cleansed skin to use it. The only problem with this product is that if you have sensitive skin this would be waaaaaay to harsh. Other than that it's amazing!

Scrublet
I got this free with a face wash, but most beauty brands do one. This one is called a scrublet and some others are called face mits. They have loads of like rubber bristles (that sounds like their hard  but there not at all!) and work as gentle exfoliator. I like to use this with my cleanser in a morning if my skin is feeling a bit dull or heavy. Something really easy to use, never runs out and can just be used with whatever product you have! Must have!

Well I hope this post wasn't to long! I also hope I've given you some good information and ideas :) Please leave me a comment or a question guys.
Bye!

New Blogger!

Hi guys!

So I was chatting to my friend Tom the other day about my blog (I have barely told any of my friends about it!) and he said he would like to start blogging. So I told him what website I use and a few tips on how to get it all set up. He's obviously brand new and is finding it hard to get people visting his blog so if you love crazy fashion, witty humour and general sarcasm then you should go and check his blog out!

Thank's bloggers!

Simple Skincare

Hi bloggers!
Firstly I need to apologise for how long it's been since I last blogged! I have been soooo super busy with school, exams and revision, blah blah blah. But im back and I should be blogging lots more like I was. So on with the post. I recently changed my skincare to Simple. I have recently been using Botanics by Boots (cheap and cheerful!), but I started to get bored so I though't I'd change it up. I mean I would love to be able to buy more high end skincare, something like Liz Earle or Lierac. But Im a student and have hardly any money, so cheap and cheerful will do me just fine! The reason I got intrigued by Simple skincare was well, 1. They have no perfumes or colours in them and 2. It's supposedly the UK's number one skincare brand, so here is what I thought :)

Face Wash
This face wash contains no perfumes, no colours and one vital vitamin. It has the pro0vitamin B5 which restores, softens and smoothes. It's pH balanced so it works perfectly with your skin. It is also 100% soap free, so it doesn't dry out your skin! I use this face wash in the shower to take most of my make-up. It's super gentle, smells fresh and clean and it's just a lovely face wash. They also do a scrub version if you prefer something exfoliating.

Cleanser & Toner
I really really like these two products. I think there both brilliant. So let's start with the purifying cleansing lotion first. It has the pro-vitamin B5 which actively restores skin, softens it and smoothes it. It also contains Bisbolol and Allantoin these soften, calm and protect. You just put it on a cotton pad and cleanse your face morning and night. This cleanser is really good at removing make-up, you don't have to rub with the cotton pad, it just glides away. Seen as it doesn't have any perfumes, it just has this smell of clean (if that makes sense!).
The toner also contains the vitamin B5 (restores, softens and smoothes). But for it's skin nutrients it contains Chamomile (gently softens and smoothes), Witch Hazel (helps tone and tighten pores) and Allatoin (softens and protects). Oh and it's alcohol free! So basically this soothing toner is packed full of good stuff! It again has just a clean, fresh smell and really removes and last traces of make-up and cleanser. It also makes a great base for your moisturiser. Love it!

Day&Night Moisturisers
These moisturisers have three vital vitamins which are; pro-vitamin B5 (restores, softens and smoothes), vitamin E (moisturisers) and vitamin F (renews and regenerates). It also has three "skin loving nutrients", these are; Glycerin (hydrates and nourishes), Allantoin (softens and protects) and Bisabolol (soothes and calms). So these moisturisers are providing you with everything you could possibly need! I love these! They are super light and fluffy, absorb lovely and quickly and have really improved my skin. The day cream also makes my make-up easier to apply. Everyone must have these, amazing products!

Rich Moisturiser
I brought this moisturiser because it is different to the day or night moisturiser. It is a replenishing rich moisturiser that gives 12 hour moisturisation. It has the same vitamins and skin nutrients as the day and night moisturisers (I don't want to write it all out again, aha!). It also has UV filters. I haven't actually used this yet because Im going to use it as a day cream when my skin feels a bit more dry or if the weather is dry, cold or windy (not good for the skin!). So this is more of a winter cream, but if you have dry skin I would really recommend just using this as your day and night cream.

I apologise for how long this blog post was! But I wanted to talk about what the product has to offer and what I think to them. I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed reading it.

What skincare do you guys use and what do you think to it?
Bye!!!

Liz Earl Hot Cloth Cleanser - Review

Hello bloggers!

A couple of weeks ago they were selling the Red magazine with a free mini Liz Earl cleanser in, let's just say I snatched it up! I have wanted to try Liz Earl products for so long, and im so glad I finally got to!

So with the Liz Earl cleanser I also got a muslin cloth and Liz Earl's ultimate cleansing guide. The steps Liz Earl gives you are;

1. Fill a basin with hand hot water.
2. Apply one or two pumps of cleanser and use your fingertips to gently massage the cream over your face and neck. Work in circular movements from the centre of your face outwards. Massage over your eyelashes to avoid spreading eye make over your face.
3. Rinse the muslin cloth in hand hot water and wring it out so it's damp, not wet.
4. Use the muslin cloth to wipe of the cream using a lean section for each part of your face. Place a single finger inside the cloth to thoroughly clean more awkward areas such as the nose. Be gentle around your eye zone when removing eye make up. Rinse the cloth thoroughly during cleansing.
5. Rinse your skin with cool water and pat dry. Rinse the muslin cloth thoroughly and allow it to air dry naturally.
6. Follow this routine morning and night then use Instand Boost Tonic before massaging in Skin Repair or SuperSkin Moisturiser to finish.

Muslin cloth care: To keep your clothes fresh and clean pop in a 40 degree wash after every three uses, allow to air dry naturally.

So anyway, I love this product! It's really, really, really good! It gets every last bit of make-up off, including all of my eye make-up. I dont do this at the sink though, I just do it in the shower, it makes more sense to me :) It is also a lovely consistency and also using the muslin cloth gives you some gentle exfoliation. My only problem with this product is the smell. It's not a horrible smell, just a very strange one. It smells exactly like a fresh (as in unfrozen) pizza that's not been cooked yet. I kid you not :) But it's not a disgusting smell, so ho hum! I definitely 100% recommend this product, and if I had the money I would certainly be buying the entire Liz Earl skincare range!

I hope you liked my review guys, please leave me a lovely comment :)
Bye!
